The Club name was shortened to ‘Ambrose Fleming Football Club’ thus deleting the ‘Old Boys’ reference

This was the first season playing in the Premier Division after just one year of being a Senior Club. The Reserve team also made their debut in the Intermediate Section after 10 years of playing in the Northern Suburban Intermediate Football League, and finished a very creditable 4th place in Intermediate Division 3.
